Seeing Red

Actually, it's more like a fantastically bright and pretty, just-right hot pink-ish shade that is getting ready to run on over to join the reds in all their fun.

What is it about this lipstick that has me writing this rave review?  Maybe I am falling so fast for this lipcolor because of the totally-worth-every-penny $5.94 that I so happily doled out at the register.  Come to think of it, I'm sure it's all about the fact that all I need to complete this look is a quick pinch of my cheeks for a nice, natural flush and a little mascara and I'm walking out the door.  Yeah.  That's got to be it.  Then again, it really could be something as simple as the cheery name on the bottom of the tube:  Cherries in the Snow.

Whatever the reason, all I know is this:  red lipstick's stigma is very much apparent here with all of its mystery, allure and appeal because it truly does give this wearer nothing but supreme confidence, and really, isn't that reason (and bargain) enough?

  5. Cherries in the Snow is such a classic--I always think of Snow White!

Revlon lipsticks are nice, and the Super Lustrous ones don't taste like soap.
